This is a lovely walk for people who like walking but don´t like camping or who have no time for a trek of several days.

ITINERARY:
(1 day walk in a remote but beautiful area in the mountains)

DIA 01: Cusco - Huchuy Qosqo
From Cusco we drive to Chinchero (Tauca). From here we start walking to the first pass (4,100 a.s.l) It takes about 3 hours to get to the top and on route we might see some herds of llamas and alpacas. From here it takes about 2 hours to get to the ruins of Huchuy Qosqo. From here it is about 90 minutes walking down a mountain to the village of  Lamay, where transport is waiting to take us back to Cusco where we arrive at the beginning of the evening.
